Version 9 SQL Permissions

Post by r1819m2 » 1 person likes this post

In Version 8 NTAuthority\System needed to be a sysadmin to trunk SQL logs. Has this changed in V9 so it uses the account specified in the job or is it still using System account. Log seemed confusing it looked like it was trying both or was it failing to use the username then switches to try System account?

If I am not mistaken, there were some changes that would match what they are seeing, but they may have been made even earlier than v9 (in one of v8 updates). We will need to confirm with the devs to be absolutely sure. Thanks!
