VHR Ubuntu inplace upgrade
Hi,
is it supported to upgrade inplace Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS on a VHR?
Are there any special steps to consider?
Any experience to share?
Tia

I can't imagine this would be a problem, although that said I've not done it.
The components Veeam needs will be untouched during the upgrade afaik. As long as your backup storage comes back online (say you used mdadm to build a large raid you'll want to make sure that can handle the upgrade), you should be able to fix anything that might go wrong.

I think so, too.
We use only HPE hardware with SR or MR RAID controller. So, this should be no problem.
Any comment from Veeam? Fabian?

Hello,
whether it's Hardened Repository or any other Veeam role: a dist-upgrade would be independent from us and work fine in general.
My experience: Ubuntu dist-upgrades work and have no interference with Veeam roles
Best regards,
Hannes
