Hi,
Unlike the File level (NAS) backup that you can specify a retention policy of months/years for the archive. Is there any equivalent for the VM (image) backup? I am sending my VM (image) backup to our object storage repository for archive, but I can't seems to find an option on the number of months/years that I can keep the VM (image) backup in our object storage repository.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Re: VM Backup Achive Retention
Capacity tier Retention uses the gfs setting (job retention) of your backup/backup copy job.
There isn‘t an „only capacity tier retention“ setting.

Hi @storageguy,
Mildur's right, you can configure GFS retention policy in days/months/weeks but it's an option you configure on the backup job.
Thanks!

Re: VM Backup Achive Retention
Thanks Mildur and Natalia.
Do you guys know if there is a roadmap to make it as "only capacity tier retention" just like archiving the NAS backup?
Thanks,
