Using the script found in https://www.veeam.com/blog/veeam-backup ... shell.html
I managed to do automated VM backups using Powershell within Free Edition. But we have an additional requirement that I can't do.
I've been trying to tweak the script for almost a week now by automating a VM restoration immediately after the backup job completes, but I am not successful, sadly.
Any of you guys kind enough to help me out with this one?

Re: VM Restoration immediately after VM Backup completion
Hi and welcome to the community,
May I ask you why do you want to restore a VM right after it's been backed up?
Thank you.

Re: VM Restoration immediately after VM Backup completion
And another question, have you looked at going with the paid version of Veeam which has much more capabilities? Depending on what you're trying to do with restoring immediately after a backup, the paid version of Veeam B&R may have what you need built-in. If you happen to have no more than 6 sockets among your virtualization hosts, Veeam Backup Essentials could be a very cost effective way of switching to the paid product.
