Hi,
I'm trying to backup an guest machine with multiple nics.
1 nic is production LAN (where also the Veeam backup server is situated) and 1 nic in een another segment.
When i try to backup the server with veeam, the job fails and is see in the log that the ip addresses of the second nic are tried to be accessed.
so i removed the second nic and tried again and the job succeeds.
is there a way to force veeam to use 1 nic of the vm for the backup ?
i'm using veeam version 6.5.0.144.
thanks in advance,
david

Re: VM with multiple nic's
Hi David,
Multiple NICs on a backed up VM should not be an issue. Actually Veeam B&R server can backup VMs without network connection since application-aware image processing can be performed over VMware Tools (VIX) API.
You probably have another issue. You can contact Veeam support to review your logs.
Thank you.
