vSphere 5 Hotfix version number
I have installed the hotfix (build .255) but the version number of the Veeam installation still shows .230. How can I ensure the hotfix install properly?

Hello,
If you have a vmfs5 datastore and can browse it through veeam B&r, then you have the .255 build installed.

Re: vSphere 5 Hotfix
This is expected behavior, the version in the UI is still 230. Nothing to worry about if installation was finished successfully, but if you want to check, you can review the log files, the new build number should be specified there. Thanks.

Re: vSphere 5 Hotfix version number
Patches do not change the product version number, they simply update a few selected components.
