on question please -
virtual maschine ist running behind NAT firewall.
this vm has a local configured ip 192.168.10.226 but veem backup server can reach
the vm only over 192.168.1.245 (the nat ip).
The Problem:
I need VSS but it seems veem uses the VM local configured IP to reach the virtual machine.
Is there anything I can do?
thanks in advance
regards,
georg

Re: vss and nat
Hello Georg,
Unfortunately, I cannot image of any workaround except of using VMware Tools VSS right now. This should also keep your backups in consistent state. But in the upcoming v5 release will not require direct network connection to guest VM in order for Veeam VSS to work.
Thanks!
