VSS Integration - Win2k8 File and Print roles

it seams i read some where you needed to enable File and Printer for VSS to work correctly on guest os's. my question is what exactly needs to be enabled in Win2k8, Win2k8r2, and Win2k3r2

could not find any documentation which instructed on what needed to be turned on.

Hello Robert,

You need to make sure that this option is enabled on Win2008 machines - Network and Sharing Center -> Change Network Advanced Sharing Settings -> Turn on File and Printer Sharing. By default this option is already enabled on Win2003, so you need to turn it on just for Win2008.
