VUL Backups Microsoft 365 - does that include Office 365?

Hi,

Please can you clarify for me? I am looking at converting from socket to VUL licensing. If I convert to VUL it says I can back up Microsoft 365. Does this include Microsoft Office 365?

what is "it"? Do you maybe have a screenshot or a reference what that statement comes from?

To answer your question: VUL (Veeam Universal Licensing) today does NOT cover SaaS workloads (Microsoft 365, Salesforce). There are ideas to make "universal" more "universal", but I cannot share a timeline on which products that would cover when.

hmm, I cannot find anything about VUL / universal licenses on both pages.

The "pricing and packaging" section of the second link mentions the "per user" license. In any case, my answer from above applies: there is no VUL for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365
