Hello!
I understand that the Global Cache for target WAN accelerator should be on fast storage - ideally flash/SSD.
But what about the source WAN accelerator Digest Files - do these also have speed requirements?
Thank you in advance.

Re: WAN Accelerator: Harddisk speed important for Digest Fil
The target side is still the most important one. If you want to increase performance, your first priority should be to provide target WAN accelerator with SSD drive as a cache location. Before that, it won't make a lot of sense to look at source side, as target cache speed will be your bottleneck.
In R2 update we also introduced enhanced data processing engine, and it's now recommend to have multi-core CPU on source WAN accelerator to take full advantage of the improved engine.
Thanks.
