warning in veeam backup job

Post by larce »

good afternoon first sorry for my bad english, i have a server, running VMWare Server with Veeam backup, when the server running backup, send me a warning alert, like this:

Veeam Backup for VMware Infrastructure 3

This VM has been processed using non-optimal data transfer engine. We recommend using service console agent mode for VM located on regular ESX servers. To enable service console agent mode, provide Veeam Backup with ESX host administrator credentials. To stop receiving this warning, change ESX server data transfer mode to "Force agentless mode".

what agent referrend this warning?
or i need download other software?
thanks for your help

Luis, what you need to do is right-click the ESX host in Veeam Backup "Servers" tree, and enable service console connection options providing the ESX administrator account/password (make sure SSH root login is enabled on your ESX host). After you do this, the service console agent will be automatically installed and leveraged on your ESX host during backups.
