Thanks for your reply and info. Sometimes it would, I have to disagree that it shouldn't show a message in this case as if it said in the UI that it wasn't using Fast Clone because the repository was created in a prior version it probably would have saved me a few hours! Would have been easier than searching forums and reading and testing different things.
