[V13] WebUI Bug? Repository backed up by rotated drives does not support per-VM backup format

Post by BrianBuchanan »

Hi,

I'm migrating a USB drive repository from my V12 B&R to V13 and using the WebUI with the V13 appliance.

The repository and host have been completely removed from the V12 server and I added the host to the V13 server successfully. I'm getting an error when adding the USB Drive repository "Repository backed up by rotated drives does not support per-VM backup format."

The repository's settings are checked "This repository is backed by rotated drives" and I left "When a drive is changed" at the default "Continue existing chains (if present)". I don't see an option about Per-VM backup format.

Again, that was in the Web UI and when I retried the process via the console the process completed successfully.

Hi Brian,

we have a confirmation from QA and will fix the issue in one of the following updates.
Use of backup console to configure rotated drives repository is a solid workaround for now.

/Thanks!
