I may have a requirement soon to restore a sample file from backup once a week in order to prove that our backups are working well on a specific server.
Is there a way to automate this? I haven't yet found how to create a recurring "restore" job.
(We're talking about having a specific person make a change to a specific file once a week, and then having Veeam restore that file the next day to a different location, like a share on that person's PC.)
I'd much rather just do a SureBackup job and send a report, but...I haven't gotten around to implementing that just yet; toooooo many other projects.
Thoughts?

Re: Weekly restore job?
Surebackup is actually super simple to set up - As long as you have a VMHost with some spare RAM to test boot a VM, schedule it and check the log once a week.

Indeed, SureBackup does look exactly like what you're after - you can set up a script to perform restore operation once the VM is up in the virtual lab.
