What if out of disk space occurs?

Post by perjonsson1960 » Apr 24, 2019 8:51 am

Folks,

I am putting backup copies on a scale-out repository with two identical extents of about 90 TB each. The system is configured to put all backup files for a specific machine on the same extent. What happens if the free space on that extent isn't enough to create a new backup file for that specific machine? Is the file created on the other extent instead, or does the job fail?

Sincerely,
PJ

Okay, it will put it on the other extent. Jolly good. :-)
