what is difference between restore point

i want to know what is difference between restore point to keep on configuration backup setting and restore point to keep on disk on creae a backup job ?

Hi,

You can back up the configuration database of Veeam B&R by using a configuration backup tool.
So you can set up how many restore points of the configuration backup you want to keep.

When you create a backup job you should specify the number of restore points you want to keep in the repository (for VMs data) at the Retention policy section.
