Why is Veeam v8 so terrible with Dedupe Appliances?

Not really applicable, when it comes to dedupe appliances v9 should be "night and day" comparing to the previous versions. In fact, good idea to rename the topic to keep v9 issues separate.

Can you be more specific? Which improvements in v9 help with dedupe applainces in general?
