will Veeam back-up an IBM i-Series?

I have a client with an IBM iSeries system that wants to use Veeam for back-up and replication off site. I didn't think Veeam supported the iSeries for this solution. Does it?

Veeam B&R works on virtualization level and is used for doing virtual machine backup & recovery. So, we support any storage.

I am also an IBM iSeries shop and is there any documentation how we can configure on the iSeries Veeam to backup our iSeries and also I intend to use Veeam Cloud connect for offsite backup replication.

IBM iSeries is the new name of what was called AS/400. Veeam supports virtualized environments running VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, both on Intel x86 technology. iSeries are not supported.
