Windows guest files restore too slow on nested subfolders
Hi,
one of my typical jobs will be restoring Guest files; these files are generally 6 or 7 subfolders deep.
To get down to the relevant subfolder, it can take up to 45 mins.
We have our VMs backed up to a HP MAS50.
Why is it so slow?
If the files are only one or two subfolders deep, it would be quick.
But as it stands it's simply impractical.
Is there a betetr way?

Colin, have you tried running Multi-OS FLR wizard? Do you have the same behaviour?

Hi Vitaly,
thanks for the reply.
I haven't tried that. Is that part of Veeam B&R?
I'm using version 5.1

Yes, it is. Just navigate to Tools -> File Level Restore -> Other OS

Thanks Vitaliy,
I'll try this later, maybe not for a few days though.
I'm fully sure that there a lot of Veeam aspects that I need to learn about.
