Windows Update - scheduling
Hi all
I was thinking, has anyone out there setup some kind of system to install windows updates.
I know the most properly sets a maintenance window to update etc, and of course we will continue to do so.
But a thought was what if someone created a system/script to manage all the VBR dependencies, so jobs are stopped correct and windows is updated and rebooted, and then starts the jobs etc. again once done.

Hi
There is already a post for that purpose
powershell-f26/stop-and-restart-the-vee ... 74119.html
You can find some guidance there.

Re: Windows Update - scheduling
Just to clarify - you are not talking about updating Cloud Connect server and stopping active tenants' jobs?

Not at first, but with time and as the script evolve, the cloud connect would also be nice to be able to stop update, and start again.

Re: Windows Update - scheduling
For Cloud Connect deployments you can use Maintenance Mode, for others - the script above. Thanks!
