(Couldn't find the wishlist forum, so I post here)
When using Replication for datacenter migration instead of DR, I often run into space issues because of the minimal 1 restore point on the target. Especially large SQL Servers with High IO give me quite some issues to get them in sync. For example a 15TB SQL Server with high IO, gives me almost 10TB snapshot. Replicating takes about 8 hrs and after replication the "Applying retention policy" takes about 5hrs. In those 5hrs I would rather start a new sync again to make the next sync as small as possible.
Or is there another way to bypass this?

Re: Wishlist: Replication without restore points

Re: Wishlist: Replication without restore points
This specific case is Hyper-V, no Quick Migration there unfortunately
