worker issue for Proxmox VE server

Post by bravo0916 »

Hello Team,

I just finished setting up for Veeam backup 12.2 version that work with Proxmox VE. Now, I added Proxmox server into Veeam backup.
But I have problem with worker setup. The error I got was "Failed to obtain an IP address. The operation timeout exceeded".
I am not sure if the worker name should be registered hostname in DNS or it doesn't mantter any name. I tried to set both of them and tried to be DHCP and set static IP, but I still have no luck. I can see that host seemed to be added in Proxmox VE server and I can ping this node from Veeam backup machine (Windows11 PC) If I set static IP and host is registered in DNS. For my home, I don't use DHCP address. All of my machines have been set static IP. At this moment, I can not take any backup job due to this issue.

I appreaite for your help!!
