I'm collecting log files fro a support case, and Veeam is currently zipping the folder. It's taken around 20 minutes so far, and will be about 40 minutes for the 2.5GB total.
This seemed a bit slow, so I did a manual test using 'Send to compressed folder' in Explorer. That finished in about 2 minutes.
Any idea what Veeam's .Net version is doing that takes so long - extremely high dedupe rate setting maybe?
Cheers, Rob.

Re: Zipping files very slow using the Support function
Hello,
we are aware that there is room for improvement on that, but I cannot give you a timeline on when this will happen.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Zipping files very slow using the Support function
Thanks Hannes. It's not a massive requirement, I just wondered why it takes so long, but I can see it's down to multi-threading.
Cheers, Rob.
