Hello,

i recently upgraded to the version 5.5 from 5.0.3 on scom sp1.
Now I am seeing loads of errors on my collector server -- "[AlarmEmailFailedEvent] Alarm 'Host connection failure' on esx.xyz.com cannot send email to abc@xyz.com"

Not sure what this means but these are our production servers, and wanted to find a resolution asap..

Thanks for your quick response.

We found the issue, and it was due to our VC servers blocking port 25. After opening the port, everything looks fine.
