[feature request] BR MP SCOM - SQL TRL Log Backup Monitoring

Hi Community.

We opened a support case #03110118 for an additional feature for the Veeam Backup and Restore Management Pack for SCOM.
We really need to monitor some SQL Transaction Log Backups for one of our productive systems.

It is very important for us because the system is also standby relevant and need to be monitored well.
At the moment there is nor feature for the monitoring of SQL TRL Backups and also no event log entries or something similar we could use in SCOM.
There is just the option to send SNMP Traps, and you know, it's UDP and maybe not really reliable in big complex networks

It would be nice to have some monitors in the MP like for other backup jobs.
At the moment there are already monitoring options for CopyJobs, BackupJobs, Replication Jobs, Surebackup Jobs, File to Tape Jobs,....

we would very much welcome it if you add the feature for SQL TRL Backups also!

Thanks for the feedback. And I see the need for monitoring those SQL Log jobs.

We're researching right now whether we can squeeze this into our next MP update which is shipping soon..... Will update here soon. Stay tuned!

Just posting back to confirm, that we are implementing a new MP Monitor to track SQL Transaction Log backup jobs

This will be delivered in MP 8.0 Update 6 - which is just one month away. In final stages of QA testing now.
