Feature Request: VAN support

Hi,

A customer of mine is moving from VMware to Nutanix AHV. The want to migrate to Veeam Backup for Nutanix but would like to utilize Veeam MP for SCOM to report on the backups of their AHV backups. (They are already using Nitanix MP for SCOM to see the health of their hosts, VM's an applications. They only want to be able to see the Veeam specific backup & replication reports in SCOM)

Is support for VAN something that is on the road map for the next release of Veeam Management pack for SCOM?

Welcome to Veeam Community Forums and thank you for posing your question!

We are currently researching the possibility to extend Nutanix support in our Veeam MP for B&R. In the current version, the Nutanix backup jobs would not be discovered, but it is definitely what we'd like to bring to the table in future versions.

It would be great if you could post here your customer’s priority features – for example, Backup Job alerting, Unprotected VM reporting, other requirements? That feedback will help us prioritize our research efforts.
