Hello,
Recently I have strated getting quite a number of alerts for the License Server 27000@xyz.abc.local is unavailable..
Anyone aware of what these alerts are for? and how I can fix this?
Thanks,
Sameer

Re: License Server Unavailble
Hi Sameer,
This is a rule in our MP that responds to the specific event from Virtual Center - ''LicenseServerUnavailable''.
If you check in Virtual Center, what is the status of your license server? Do you see error events there?
Is the server where VMware License Server service is installed up and running OK? Is the service running, is the port (27000) open?
BTW - What version of nworks are you running?
thanks
Alec

Re: License Server Unavailble
Thanks Alec for your response.
We are using the 5.0.3 version on nworks. I was planning to go with the 5.5 but wanted to wait till the final release is out.
I will check with the VM team and find out if they see any errors on the vmware..
thanks
