NSX Monitoring with Veeam MP

Hello, Our VMware admins have just implemented NSX within our VMWare environment and asked us if the Veeam mgmt. pack provides any monitoring for this.

NSX is a network virtualization component within VMWare and they would like to be notified if & when NSX encounters any issues/critical events. It may be best to engage our VMware admins to gather more details if needed but my question is, does Veeam have any plans to add NSX monitoring to the Veeam MP and if not, can we request this to be added in a future update?

As far as I know NSX is not supported by Veeam MP yet. I'll forward your request to MP R&D team though.

are there any news in relation to VMware NSX (for vSphere)? We would be very interested too!
If the MP just could monitor the availability of NSX Manager and check if the NSX-v VIBs are installed on the host, this would be very helpful!

Welcome to Veeam Community Forums and thanks for posting!

Unfortunately, we have no short-term plans supporting NSX, however, this an area that we do consider as a potentially interesting one.

As VMware will re-name (again!) NSX from NSX-T to simple NSX and integrate it more into vCenter Server, are there any news to share that maybe Veeam MP will have some basic NSX Monitoring in the future?
