As part of our upgrade to vSphere 5, we're going to be adding another vCenter server and configuring them for Linked Mode.
I looked through the MP docs and this forum, but didn't find anything about Linked Mode. Does anyone know if anything needs to be configured on the collectors for Linked Mode, or is just a matter of adding the new vCenter server to SCOM?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: nWorks 5.7 and vSphere 5 Linked Mode Question
you'll just need to add the new vcenter - linked mode does not share performance data , just permissons between vc's

Re: nWorks 5.7 and vSphere 5 Linked Mode Question
Yes that's correct - Linked Mode shares role permissions, and allows multiple vCenters to be seen in one VI Client view. There is no special configuration on the nworks side - our UI already allows multiple vCenters
All that's required is just to add the new VC in nworks Enterprise Manager.
