Regarding Windows 2008 R2- SP1 - nWorks 5.7

Post by aperson »

Regarding nworks Enterprise Manager / WebUI and Collectors with 5.7.

nWorks MP 5.7 with SCOM 2007

Are the VEM and ancillary servers compatible yet with W2K8-R2 /SP1 ?
The release_notes/mp_vmware_scom_release_notes_5_7.pdf do not mention SP1 as as a system requirement, which translate to mean, not yet compatible.

Please let me know if you require additional information on our infrastructure.

Can somoene please confirm?

Thanks

Hello,

All nworks 5.7 components are tested and confirmed with SP1 for Windows 2008R2.

Looks like we need to update our documentation! Thanks for catching that. But I can confirm that we fully support SP1.

Cheers

Mr. Alec.

Since, I am not sure if the documentation is up to date now...

Does the VEM / WEB UI with SP1 server require NET 4.0 or will NET 3.5.1 be OK?

Hi! NET 3.5.1 is what you need.
