Re: Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis
Thank you. A few additional questions to make sure our understanding is correct:
What you are trying to achieve?
What is your hypervisor where the VMs reside?
How you disabled the alert?

Re: Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis
Hi Fedor,
We are using Veeam VMware Management Pack in SCOM 2012 R2.
We want to disable monitor "Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis" for some of the VM desktops.
How are we disabling this Alert is as below
Created a GROUP in SCOM (Which as the lists of VM desktops were we want to stop these alerts)
we have overridden the alert "Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis" and disabled (Enabled = False) only for this group
after disabling this alert for the Group, we are still receiving the Alerts from the members of this group
Regards,
Kumar B

Re: Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis
Thanks. There should not be any issues with this approach - this is a basic SCOM functionality, not even MP functionality. Could you please provide a screenshot of the override properties and let us know what objects you chose when creating the group?

Hi Fedor,
Created Group: which has the list of servers(used as windows computer) which we do not want to monitor this alert.
Override properties
Alert name: Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis.
Override to the class for a particular Group.
Regards,
Kumar B

Re: Veeam VMware: Virtual Machine Memory Usage Analysis
Hi Kumar,
Thank you for the comments.
Unfortunately, It's hard to analyze the issue without having a look at the current configuration, so please go ahead and raise a support case with our technical support team directly. I'm pretty sure there is some misconfiguration in the override itself or the group containing target objects. Please let us know your case ID so we could keep an eye on it.
Thanks
