Adding Server Name to Tape Backups report?
Is anyone aware of an easy way to see which servers were backed up on which tape - The VEEAM ONE Tape Backups reports is almost there, however, you have to click on an hyperlink to see which servers are actually on the tape on an individual basis. Is anyone aware of a way to just add the server name to the report?
The report has the date/time and then a hyperlinked "1" and then then the tape number and then the type of backup (full or incremental). You have to click on the 1 to see which servers were actually on the tape over and over again for all of the lines to verify if a particular server was backed up on that tape.

Hi Vincent, Tape Backups is the report to use. Drill-down reports take place because there maybe hundreds of VMs which makes report unreadable.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The Drill Downs make the report unusable as you then have to drill down on each line to find the server name. Is there a better way or report to determine which servers are on which tapes?

If you want to check where are VM`s backups you may either use predefined VMs with no Archive Copy or use custom backup report.
As for Tape Backups one, we will try to resolve your concern in future versions.
Thanks!

How do we go about developing a custom backup report?

You may choose VM name and Secondary repository as fields for the report. Have you checked VMs with no Archive Copy report?
The reports will show just media set/pool, not the exact tape though. So Tape Backups maybe still the best option.

I agree, this report has been a big disappointment. I need a way to print paper copies of what jobs exist on what tapes. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. Very disappointing, unless i'm missing something.

Hello MannyP and welcome to the community!
Do you mean restore points? Jobs are shown in the report + can be achieved with Custom Backup report.
Restore points info is to be shown in next product version.
Thanks!
