Other than adding a single entry vs multiple, is there any real advantage to adding the Enterprise Manager to VeeamOne vs just adding the individual VBR servers?
We have VeeamOne, Enterprise Manager, and 12 VBR servers. I currently have VEM added to VeeamOne, which automatically pulls in all VBR servers that use VEM for licensing.
However, when I get "Data Collection" failures, it is harder to backtrack where the failure is, especially if it times out while trying to talk to VEM.
Will I be missing out on anything if I simply added the 12 servers into VeeamOne separately? I assume it would make data collection more granular and easier to find data collection issues.
I do not have a ticket open currently - have had one in the past but problems came back. If there are no large advantages I would miss out, I would likely add VBR servers individually and remove VEM from VeeamOne and see if my problems go away before resorting to opening a ticket.

Re: advantages of adding VEM vs individual VBR servers
Hello TW,
The real benefit is to automatically discover all of those Veeam Backup & Replication Servers, federated under a single EM.
Data Collection issues can be a few things, usually related to resources, take a look at the Helpcenter:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... ml?ver=120
And something to consider is to scale properly the Database Server, if it is the same VONE Server, you need to apply the CPU/RAM on top of what VONE consumes as well.
Please take a look and let us know. I know that in v12.2 we improved the Alarm about data collection issues, what version are you currently running of Veeam ONE?
Thank you!

Re: advantages of adding VEM vs individual VBR servers
Running the latest version. Resources should be ok, but it still seems to choke. When I have time I'll either add them individually or open a ticket.
Having them discovered all together is mildly nice, but I have a pretty good handle on our VBR servers, so individual wouldn't take but a few minutes extra.
