Alarm "Host disk write latency": exclude some Datastores

Hi,

we have some different storage systems. One of them fired alarms "Host disk write latency". Because there only test and demo VMs, i want to exclude the Datastores presented by this storage system. I only want to monitore importand Datastores.

I configured the alarm "Host disk write latency" with excludes of Datastores containing the test and demo VMs. It hasn't any effect.

Is it not possible to exclude Datastores at the alarm "Host disk write latency"?

You're correct, it is not possible to exclude datastores from host disk latency alarms, however, you may want to apply this workaround, should help.

the "Host disk write latency" is now disabled and i configured a new alaram discribed in the workaround - it works fine - GREAT!
