Alarm Modeling and Suppression Times

Post by mbietz »

Hello,

I am in the progress of fine tuning alarms.
When it comes to alarm-suppression and alarm modelling, there seems to be a bug.
The suppressions are not taking into account, for alarm modelling, whatever suppression time I choose, even from 0:00 - 23:59, the alarms are still counting in the modeller.

I am working with Veeam One Paid Edition Version 9.0.0.2062.

Can you clarify, whats going on?

Thank you

Michael

Hi Michael,

I will ask our QA team to reproduce this. Modelling relies on the number of events you have and performance trends behavior. Once I have more details I will let you know.

Thanks!

just to let everyone know.
I got respond from my case, alarm modelling does not take suppression times into account.
That is planned to be implemented in later versions of veeam-one

To be exact, that`s a confirmed bug which is going to be fixed in future releases.
