It would be really awesome if the veeam one rest api would get more then get requests,.. It would be great if we could set maintenance schedules on VMware components via api, so we can silence alerts on esxi hosts, ... as we pull disk, and we could do it on time and targeted as part of existing automations we already have.
currently the point an click method to set maintenance is used for anything done manually by the server admins, but just about never by anything that is done via automation, so we get alerts that are just annoying and would not need to be there, The solution using point and click would be to put everything in to maintenance, which is also not great or desirable.
please enhance the api to make it more feature rich. Also if it could have a an opsgenie or pager duty integration for simpler routing ,of alerts to a team that would be another bonus.
thanks

Hello Thorsten,
This is a great idea indeed! We will add it for our future releases.
