[Feature Request] Bulk edit Guest OS credentials
Hi,
as it is now, for a Service Provider is like hell to insert/manage dedicated Guest OS credentials for hundreds or thousands VMs.
We need a more efficient way.
Cheers,
Pierluigi

Hi Pierluigi and welcome to the community!
There is such an option for Hyper-V because you need credentials for Guest Disk collection, vSphere provides that info with no credentials.
What product version are you at?
What virtualization platform do you use in environment, Hyper-V or vSphere?
Thanks!

Re: [Feature Request] Bulk edit Guest OS credentials
Hi,
we are on Hyper-V. Weird since I have an open case with your Support and I was told to ask for a feature request since it's not possible to have bulk edit of the Guest OS credentials.
Let me be specific.
I would like to be able to select 100 VMs out of 1000 and setup credentials for those 100. Then select another 350 and od the same. And so on.
The existing "bulk" for all the 1000 VMs is not usable, espcially for a SP with 50 different customers and different domains.
Thanks for your help.

Re: [Feature Request] Bulk edit Guest OS credentials
In Hyper-V you can set Guest Credentials for all child objects on their parent, i.e. on host/cluster-level. Also you may set guest credentials for all Hyper-V objects in Veeam ONE Server settings.
We are planning to add more flexible credentials manager in future versions.
Thanks!

OK, can you please reference what you just told me? I'm not able to see it in the console (only selecting a single VM you have the "Guest OS Credentials" menu, not available if I right click a cluster or Hyper-v node.
Nor I can see it here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... tml?ver=95
Thanks.

It`s right in the tree under Infrastructure View.

Re: [Feature Request] Bulk edit Guest OS credentials
Hi,
version is 9.5.0.3254.
I don't have that option if I select a cluster or a node.
Unfortunately, even in this way, I'm not solving my issue.
Thanks for your help.
