Curious if I can configure VeeamONE to send an email alert when a login occurs on vCenter. If possible, it would also need to be able to ignore certain logins (like the one Veeam itself uses) to prevent crazy numbers of alerts. Said another way, I'm looking for a way to be notified when a USER logs into vCenter.
Possible?

Re: Can VeeamONE send an alert when someone logs into vCenter?
Hello Jim
Make a search on the Tasks & Events for the event like these
Then just create a new alarm based on it.
Ignoring particular users in the event description seems a bit complicated task as it is possible to use the ‘*’ (asterisk) and ‘?’ (question) wildcards only.
Thanks

Hello,
As Roman mentioned, that way is the best one I can think of. We have a built-in alert that will trigger when a bad username login happens: When you are creating the alarm, you can omit the Veeam-related actions like here:
I even think that the Veeam tasks that require login to vCenter, are never a pure login like this I did using the web client:
And are more like this event, or others for example:
I think with all this knowledge and Roman's answer, you would be fine. Please let us know!
