Hello together,
I would like to create a special report from Veeam ONE or create it via PowerShell directly on the backup server.
I have already tried to create such a report in Veeam ONE but there is always too much information. The report should contain this:
- Pure number of existing restore points per job
- How many backups were successful in the last 30 days
- How many backups were aborted or failed
Maybe this is only possible with PowerShell.
Thanks and
Best regards
Florian

Re: Custom Report for the last 30 days
Hello Florian,
There is no possibility to create a custom report from the scratch in Veeam ONE. That is true.
A number of restore points could be found, for example in the Backup Infrastructure Custom Data or in the Protected VMs reports. While the Job History report output has a job status filter to select failed jobs.
Then such reports could be combined into one file with the help of the report builder.
But what is actually the use case? Why "too much information" is inconvenient for you?
Thanks

Re: Custom Report for the last 30 days
Hi RomanK,
thank you for your answer.
The use case for me is specifically for the management department. They don't want to see all the details like size of backups or duration. This report should be able to be shown in the conversation with the customer.
So do you also think PowerShell would be better here?
Kind regards
Florian

Hi Florian,
I think we can definitely work something out through Powershell. Can you please submit a separate topic on this subforum?
powershell-f26/
Thanks,
Oleg
