error when adding Backup Server
Hello,
Veeam One was not used on our side for some time, but now i reactivated it, because we want to acquire the backup calendar, which is a really good feature.
All is running and licences are up to date. VeeamOne is version 12.1.
Using the menu we try to add our backupserver after choosing credentials we get this errormessage:
Failed to conect to "my.hostname.de". Unable to add the backup server. Veeam One supports backup & Replication and Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Version 10 Update 1 or later.
This Message is quit confusing because our Backup & Replication Server is already Version 12.2.
I followed the instructions, especially this one: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... ml?ver=120
used credentials have local Admin and BackupAdmin privileges.
So what could be the real reason behind this problem? Unfortunately it is not responding with concrete technical error but only a hint of wrong version.

Hi Hans,
Just to confirm, your VeeamOne version is 12.2.0.4093 or it's 12.1.x?
I believe you just need to upgrade VeeamOne to 12.2.0.4093 by downloading it from https://my.veeam.com/my-products, and then try to add the 12.2 Veeam Backup and Replication Server once more.

i'm not quite sure, but with VeeamONE v12.2 it's possible to add VBR v12.2 and older versions... like mentioned here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/d ... ml?ver=120
Here you can see the upgrade checklist from VBR: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120 -> it's mentioned to upgrade your Veeam ONE first, and then your VBR.
You wrote, that your Veeam ONE is on v12.1 and your VBR is on v12.2. So, in my opinion, this could be an issue.
Is it possible for you, to bring your VONE also to v12.2 and then try to integrate your VBR v12.2. ??

thanks for your answers. I try to update VeeamOne to 12.2 to match both versions. We updated VBR only because of the urgent security problems. May be it was a mistake to leave VeeamOne on 12.1
i wil try and feed back my results.

After upgrading VeeamOne to same Version as B&R the process went succesful.
