We got an error trying to upgrade trying to upgrade from version 11 to 12. Backup and replication ran fine on the same server.
Any ideas how we can fix this?
Error details: Cold not allocate a new page for database "VeeamONE" because of insufficient disk space in fielgroup "PRIMARY". Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding addtional files to the filegroup or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup

a) there is not enough disk space.
b) you are using SQL express and your database is allready at 10 GB

The post above is correct, most probably the SQL express limitation.
Please open a support case and provide a case ID in this thread. The support may help with an upgrade, database migration or shrink.
