We have a need for a report showing the total amount of bandwidth that a VM uses. Our clients contracts come with a certain amount of bandwidth, but we're supposed to charge them for overages - a bit like a cell phone plan. Having a report like this could actually pay for the software itself. It's a great selling point for the right organization!

Thanks for the feature request. Do you host these VMs in your own datacenter or there is some public cloud which you would like to measure bandwidth for?

They are in our own datacenter.

Ok, in this case it would make sense, otherwise there are too many variables (such as routers, different ISPs) that can affect the bandwidth to end user. Thanks for the feedback!
