just wondering how long the initial data collection usually takes, post installation of Veeam One, before I should start to create assesssment reports ?

Hello Johny,
It depends on the type of assessment report. Which one are you after?
Some reports don`t need historical data and can be generated just after the installation.

We are about to run the two "Veeam ONE Infrastructure Assessment" reports to make an estimate before offering Veeam B&R to customer.

are there any other reports that could be helpful before offering above ?

You may try them. For the time we are talking, Veeam ONE should collect the data.

I am not sure I understand what you mean with the above ?

I meant that you can already try the reports. It`s almost one hour from your first message, so the needed data is already collected.

Since you have vSphere, you may run 3 VMware Infrastructure Assessment reports, to check if VI is tuned in accordance with best practices and Backup Infrastructure Assessment report.
VM Backup Compliance Overview and Capacity Planning for Backup Repositories will not tell you anything useful if you haven`t started to backup VMs yet.
