Is it possible to merge two Veeam One Reporting servers into one?
Hopefully, this is an easy question to answer. I have two Veeam One servers. They are in labeled/named as two servers in different regions like east and west. We want to consolidate both servers into just one Veeam One reporting server. Am I able to pick one server of our choosing and take the database from one and add it/merge it to the other without losing the data so I can get rid of the server? Wasnt sure if merging the databases into one is possible or not? Thanks

Re: Is it possible to merge two Veeam One Reporting servers into one?
Hello,
Currently this is not possible. Our database schema is pretty complex, and it will not allow to import just Historical information to be used within reports.
We are looking into making the whole structure much easier, and such scenarios could be possible in the future. I can think of a few scenarios that might be suitable for you:
Thank you!

- Maybe you can follow these steps, so you have on one SQL Server both DBs, old and new:
https://www.veeam.com/kb1599#:~:text=Ve ... 20services.
And when you need, you can go to VeeamONE advanced settings and change the Database. Might lead to some problems most likely. - Another one is, you can export all the required reports with all the historical information, so you can go back to them if you need, we have Excel, and CSV export that perhaps might be enough.
- Last option I can think of is to take an application-aware backup with Veeam Backup & Replication, shutdown and delete that VM, and in case you need data, spin up a quick InstantVM Recovery, run the reports you need from that historical data, and stop the InstantVM Recovery.
Thank you!
