Maintenance mode ending next day help
Hi, I just want to clarify something, I use scheduled maintenance mode and it works fine but now I need to use it for a period that will end the next day so I'm unsure on how it will react and I need clarification on that. I want to use the scheduled maintenance from 20h to midnight on friday so my question is if i define the maintenance window to be friday at 20h untill 00h will that work? Or will the system be in maintenance untill next friday at 00h, I don't want to have the whole thing in maintenance for a week and be monitored for only 20 hours for the whole week. Since the drop down start at 00h and finish at 23h30 that create a confusion, the drop down should probably start at 0h01 and end at 23h59 to clarify how the schedule will work.
Please advise

Re: Maintenance mode ending next day help
Hello Dany,
As far as I remember the day starts at 00:00 and ends at 23:59. So If you need a midnight from Friday to Saturday, you should use 00:00 for Saturday, instead of Friday.
I will double-check that with QA just in case and let you know.
Thanks

Re: Maintenance mode ending next day help
Hello Dany,
I see. This feature is quite old and should be reworked and updated at some point in time.
It does not allow you to use interval 20:00 - 00:00 on the same day, because the end of the interval is before the beginning. "Invalid time span" message should appear. However, this message appears only for the Daily/Weekly/Monthly schedule type and does not appear for the Once. I am not quite sure why but asked our QA to check.
So for now it is better to stop at 23:30.
Thanks

Re: Maintenance mode ending next day help
ok, thanks for the reply that definitely need to be revised, is there a way to set the start time for friday 20h and end time saturday 00h30 or something similar, for the weekly/monthly maintenance? I'd rather have an extra 30 min maintenance mode than staring to receive alert knowing that work is happening during that time frame.

Hello Dany,
Unfortunately, the current design does not allow us to do that either for the same reason - the end time is less than the start time.
Thanks
