Migrate Veeam ONE v8 to a new Server

Hi,

What is the process for migrating Veeam ONE v8 from one Server 2012 R2 deployment to a new one?

I asked on twitter, and Mr Vanover said not to use the KB article published for V ONE 6.5, which talks about this topic.

Hi Dean,

Do you use remote or local SQL Server? If it is a local SQL Server, then you can use these steps to migrate all the data > Migrating database from SQL Express to SQL Server 2012 Std ?

As to Veeam ONE server migration, then you can point your new installation to the SQL Server hosting Veeam ONE database. This will allow you to re-use all the configuration.

Cheers, for that, as the installation was quite new and I didnt get an answer quickly, I blew away the server and set it up again, but I'll keep the notes on this for future reference,
