Notification advice

We would like to be able to get the notification emails sent from Veeam One to go to the service owners of the VM's but there seems to only be the option to "globally" send emails out or am i missing something ?

Hi Gareth,

If you want to send emails to application owners, then you need to copy alarms and then assign them to either BV groups belonging to the application owners or assign these alarms to other containers.

BTW, are you currently using our multi-tenant monitoring and reporting functionality?

thanks for the reply, all this is done from the Business View app then rather than the monitoring console ?

No we are not currently using the multi-tenant monitoring and reporting facility as far as i know

Actually, the opposite It is done in monitoring console, but via Business View tab on the left. Alarms can be assigned to these groups with their own thresholds and email notification settings.

You're welcome! If you have different application owners, then upgrade to v8 and check out our multi-tenant monitoring/reporting functionality.
