Re: ONEbelievable tricks: Veeam ONE and Automation Services
Good! We are planning to add more automation to these "automation tips and tricks", so It would be good to know what scripts you use and what would like to see as a pre-defined post alarm actions in Veeam ONE.

Yes, Dropbox link is no longer available, since we have a dedicated KB for that: https://www.veeam.com/kb2270

I too had the same problem "Can not validate the argument on the parameter" Job "lahad wrote: ↑Dec 03, 2017 7:25 pm Thanks finally I was able to fix the errors by adding the Veeam cmd applet and installing PowerCLi from VMware.
But I still have the following error for the script:
Can not validate the argument on the "Job" parameter. The argument is null. Specify a valid value for the argument and try again.
+ CategoryInfo: InvalidData: (:) [Stop-VBRJob], ParameterBindingValidationException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId: ParameterArgumentValidationError, Veeam.Backup.PowerShell.Cmdlets.StopVBRJob

Hello
Sorry I can't seem to follow the instructions.
Powershell scripts are mentioned. Do these need to be created or are the scripts available to download or copy?
Regards

Hi Tim,
There is no tutorial on this specific trick. You may follow the instructions mentioned on the first page of this thread as well as download the scripts directly from the KB article. The scripts are not officially supported and may require manual modifications, but if you face an issue you may ask for advice on the forums.
Thanks

And if you need more automation and options during the failover operation, then maybe Veeam Availability Orchestrator can help too.
