How can I enable and define the restricted access to several users of the new veeam one monitor client?
Is it possible to exclude some vm's for specific users?

Re: Read-only access to monitoring clients
Hi Matthias,
You need to add these users to Veeam ONE Users security group. Members of this group will be able to generate reports and access monitoring data in read-only mode, but won't have any access to Veeam ONE configuration settings.
Configuring security permissions for a selected object is not possible.
Thanks!

Re: Read-only access to monitoring clients
Hello Matthias,
Speaking of your "exclude VM" questions, the answer is NO - this is not available now. What is the use-case? Could you please elaborate this feature request a bit more. Do you need the ability to exclude some of virtual machines or their categories from the infrastructure view?
Thanks,
VM.

Re: Read-only access to monitoring clients
thanks for the quick reply...
the use-case is:
we are hosting a lot of windows xp machines on vmware. each machine is defined for a special task and runs some self developed software under a local user account that is interacting with the session. some of our developers are using the veeam monitor to "jump" into this local usersession and check some values in our application and sometimes need to start and stop a service. that all works fine, but every developer has access to the console view of all machines that are loaded into the veeam monitor. so my idea was to define full access for some machines to the veeam administrator-group only...
