Report for vmware "tagless" VMs
Hello People,
we need an Veeam One report to display vmware taggless VMs
we shouldn´t have any taggless vms, each vm in the VMware cluster have an VMware tag for the backup job.
Is it possible to get Informations about taggless VMs from veeam one database via Veeam one Reporter?
Best regards

Re: Report for vmware "tagless" VMs
Hi Konstantin,
Don't have access to the lab right now to check, but since you're talking about backup jobs, let me guess that you want to detect all VMs that are not added to the backup/replication jobs? If that's the case, then you can generate this report, which will list all VMs in the infrastructure that do not have any restore points = not added to the backup job.
Thanks!

Re: Report for vmware "tagless" VMs
Hi Vitaly,
thank you for request,
we need the information only about vms without vmware tag, the protected vms report generate to much information because we have excluded some vms from backup.
All excluded vms are labeled with "no-backup" vmware tag.
we want to make sure that no vms in cluster running taggless.
Thanks
Konstantin

Hi Konstantin,
Have you synchronized vSphere tags with Veeam ONE Business view?
If yes, you can find uncategorized VMs in Business View Workspace and Export the list to Excel.
Thanks!

I would give it a try.
BV groups - VMware tags synchronization should not take long.
Thanks!
